Andrew recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Drama and is currently a M.S. Candidate for Performing Arts Leadership and Management at Shenandoah Conservatory.

Most recently, Andrew had the honor of serving as a delegate to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) on matters pertaining to diversity, family background, and leadership at the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, he is a Hesselbein Fellow at the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement at the University of Pittsburgh. Andrew has spoken at the TED Conference on the power of the arts, and has been featured for his positive work towards generational social change on media outlets such as CNN, NBC, and the Washington Post.

Recent past professional credits include work with the Contemporary American Theater Festival, the Contemplative Sciences Center, the Center for Leadership Excellence, and the Tom Tom Founder's Festival.

In addition to Andrew's advocacy role in the arts, he has also professionally performed throughout the United States. Past credits include the MTV Video Music Awards; Music Videos for Wale, Lloyd, Nickelback, Todrick Hall; an international tour with The Virginia Glee Club; and most recently, the Los Angeles production of Rugrats: A Live Adventure as Tommy Pickles.

In his spare time he enjoys ranting about the relevancy of the arts in America, streaking UVA’s historic lawn, and contemplating whether or not Olivia Pope ever shops in the clearance section. Andrew consistently finds great pleasure in stratifying and reconstructing today’s social norms by means of non-heteronormative practices, i.e., Bye, Felicia.
